Maybe the title should have said, "Could 'Little Monsters' Be The Next Zombieland After The Next Zombieland'"? (Gawd that's a lot of punctuation to try to figure out). Anyways, Zombieland does have it's own sequel on the way, but I'm talking about a good unexpected zombie comedy that hit's us right in our Zombieland/Shaun Of The Dead place. I don't know what it is, but zombies are indeed, pretty funny.
So what we have here is the star of US, Lupita Nyong'o, in a comedy/horror movie about zombies invading a summer camp. I have to admit that I'm a little disappointed that they're using the same title as the Fred Savage monster vehicle from 20 years ago, but other than that this movie looks spot on. I don't know actors as well as I should, by Josh Gad looks perfect as a Pee Wee Herman type who is a bit of coward.
I'm also a big fan of the excessive amount of gore in the trailer. Yes, you read that right. I just think a zombie invasion would be a bloody mess and this accurately plays up the gross out factor while still bringing the jokes. I'll be in line for this one, just as long as they haven't given away the entire movie in the trailer, which is entirely possible with this kind of theme.
