If you haven't figured it out yet, Horror Web is partially owned and operated by people who own and operate Haunted houses/theme parks. We have on occasion stumbled upon scenes that were so good that even we went "wait, is that real?". Hellfest is that story. A visit to a haunted theme park where the murders turn real. Oh man!
It looks like The Candyman himself, Tony Todd plays a role as the festivals emcee. That, my friends, is the kind of typecasting that I'm all in for. Tony lays down that sinister vibe no matter what he does.
I'm very pumped to have a new masked villain too. I've often thought to myself, "how hard can it be to come up with the new Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees?" I love the rotten look of this guys mask. I hope this movie is good so he can come back again and again.
Sorry if I'm a little prematurely excited, but when I see a horror trailer and that "Lionsgate" comes up, it just gets my blood flowing. The movie is scheduled to hit select theaters on September 28th.
