NOS4A2 Trailers Surface!
Trailers for NOS4A2 have started surfacing. They deliver plenty of fan service for those of us who have read the book, but if you haven't you might be wondering just what the hell is going on.
Now, first off, I only believe in delivering what I would consider a "back cover synopsis". That means I'm going to try to not divulge anymore than you'd get from the back of a book or a d.v.d. case.
Let's start with the fact that NOS4A2 has nothing to do with Nosferatu, the Max Shreck vampire. NOS4A2 is the the license plate of a car that may or may not be alive, that carries around a ghoul named Mr. Manx. Mr Manx is a convicted child abductor who takes children to "Christmasland". Christmasland is unbelievable visualized in the book so recreating it is going to be very important in the t.v. series.
What makes this book/project so exciting is how layered this story is. Mr. Manx has a henchman that could have been a stand alone serial killer in any other book. Then there's our hero, Vic, who has a special ability that allows her to find things. Add a couple other colorful characters and you've got an amazing piece of work.
I hope I have you sold on taking a gander at this series (or picking up the book). It has the potential to be THE show that everyone is talking about this summer. Have a quick look at some of the previews.
