The team behind The Walking Dead has announced that Season 11 will be the last for the show...but wait for it, you're going to get 24 episodes in Season 11 (probably in two or three chunks). Then, in a twist that's better than many on the show, two of the characters are actually continuing.
Yes, get ready for the Carol and Daryl show. Those two characters will continue on a show of their own. This, as far as I'm concerned, is really just a different way of slicing the same apple, leaving me only wondering only about the fate of Negan (and maybe Princess).
The delayed conclusion to Season 10 will air on October 4th. Then you'll catch the beginning of Season 11 sometime in 2021 with the final episodes in 2022 (at least that's the plan for now).
Count me as one of the biggest fans of the show (and it's spinoffs). I'm all about having zombies on my t.v. as much as possible. I'm surprised that any of you horror fans ever gave up on the show. Yeah, it's had some disappointing or slow arcs, but it is currently pretty dang satisfying. Circle back around with us hardcore fans and let's send the show off in a big way.
