John Carpenter turns 72 today (1/16/20). I'm not sure what can be said about the man other than he certainly changed the direction of many of our lives. I am quite serious when I say that I might be doing something entirely different were it not for Carpenter bringing Halloween to the screen.
While we in the horror business claim Carpenter as one of our own, let's not forget Big Trouble In Little China, Escape From New York and Assault On Precinct 13.
