The Toybox Brings Horror To The Desert

"Here's my impersonation of Carrie"

The best part about this trailer is, I don't know what is brutalizing these people. The second best things are Mischa Barton and Denise Richards.

I've always loved the desert as a horror location. From "The Hills Have Eyes" to "Dusk To Dawn" and even "The Devil's Rejects, the desert locale says, "sure you can run, but where the hell are you gonna go?".

Here's the movie synopsis from IMDB:

An estranged family take a trip to the desert in their used RV but become stranded and isolated in the scorching terrain. They soon learn their RV holds terrible, haunting secrets, and it starts killing them off one by one.

So I guess this is a story of an RV that possesses people? Okay, I've seen weirder stuff. The trailer looks brutal, Denise Richards looks smoldering (am I allowed to notice that in 2018) and whatever the heck is going on is not given away. The Toybox will be released to theaters on 9/18.
